Anti-Money Laundering Policy (AML)
The Green Day Exchange platform and its administration recognize the risks associated with the laundering of digital assets and strive to prevent involvement in illegal operations that could harm the service's reputation. To this end, AML procedures (Anti-Money Laundering Policy) have been implemented and are actively enforced on the platform in accordance with international standards for combating money laundering (AML) and the financing of terrorism (CFT).
Users are required to refrain from attempting to use the service for fraudulent activities, laundering of illegally obtained funds, purchasing prohibited goods and services, or financing organizations whose activities are prohibited. By using the service, the user confirms that they have provided accurate and reliable information and are not involved in fraudulent or criminal activity, money laundering, or financing of terrorism.
The Green Day Exchange platform reserves the right to:
- request identity documents, registration address, and other relevant and reliable information about transactions from the client;
- require verification of personal documents;
- request additional information about the origin of the client's digital assets and proof of their lawful acquisition;
- store identification data and personal information in accordance with Green Day Exchange's privacy policy;
- use analytical systems to check transactions when illegal use of the service is suspected;
- restrict the creation of applications when anonymous connections (VPN, proxies, anonymous browsers) are used that make it difficult to identify the client's location;
- block accounts and operations when illegal activity is suspected or confirmed;
- freeze funds until the investigation is completed;
- refuse to withdraw funds to third-party accounts without explanation;
- not disclose AML analysis methods and results to users;
- refuse to provide services if the client violates the established requirements.
AML verification usually takes 1 to 10 business days. However, depending on the complexity of the case and the speed at which the client provides the necessary information, the review may take longer. Upon completion of the review, the client will be notified by email. Business days are weekdays from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and official days off.
The Green Day Exchange platform does not work with high-risk and sanctioned platforms. If deposits are found to have originated from such platforms, the funds will be frozen until the client completes AML verification. Until the review is completed, currency exchange or refund of funds is not possible.
